Beautiful Diamond Moon Charm Necklace

Posted in ,

A friend of mine owns an online jewelry store. The items she sells are high end and definitely of excellent quality, however, I tend to buy most of my jewelry at local Pagan stores or online Pagan stores because I really love Moons, Pentacles and Goddesses.

I checked out her site today because I know she has something awesome planned sale wise for Black Friday/Cyber Monday and I found this diamond moon charm necklace:

I am in love with this and the sale price is too good to be true. I'm mentioning this to you all because with the holidays coming up, I know everyone is looking for great gift ideas and awesome deals. Since she is my friend, I have no shame in promoting her site -- which is Lauren Klein Jewelry (http://www.laurenklein.com)

If you're looking to give jewelry as a gift, I highly recommend her site, which has women's jewelry, baby jewelry, and personalized jewelry as well. Here is the current promotion for the weekend:

Receive 15% off with coupon code 15off and FREE shipping for your Black Friday-Cyber Monday shopping. Just one purchase gives you a chance to win this 1/10 Carat 14K Yellow Gold Diamond Circle Necklace!

Offer expires Mon. 11/29 at midnight, so it's only for the weekend.  Now you all know I don't go promoting things unless I have personal experience with whatever I mention.  Definitely check this out.

Goddess Song in School

Posted in ,

The Witchlets have a favorite Goddess chant, May The Circle Be Open - they have been singing this karaoke style for years now.

Recently Dante decided to teach his Pre-K class the song...I was told but the teacher was not negative about it at all, which is good because I really didn't want to have to deal with that.

Here is an older video of my little Witchlets singing/dancing (if you can call it that, LOL) to this Pagan Song - they call it 'Goddess music'

November Full Moon--Mourning Moon

Posted in

I've been working extra hard to save up for a few Yule present for the Witchlets (just finished research on what could possibly be the best fat burner on the market right now) but anyway, it suddenly dawned on me, tomorrow is Full Moon.

November's Full Moon is often referred to as the Mourning Moon. During November, the Earth goes dormant. Plats die, people and animals rely more on stored foods and fat reserves.

Magickally, work spells that relate to animals that are active during this time of the year, such as deer. Hold rituals to celebrate animal spirits or the introspective energy of the dormant season.

Yule Birthdays

Posted in ,

CJ's birthday is Dec. 29th and my Uncle Eddie's birthday is Dec. 21st (or is it the 20th? UGH) and so one of the great things about this is that shopping for birthday presents during this time of year means I can take advantage of good deals. The bad thing? Seems the birthdays and the Yule celebrations get all mushed up together.

I'm having a difficult time trying to figure out what to get CJ. My uncle wants a cigars humidor, so that's easy; but for CJ? UGH, I have no idea.

If you have family or friends that have birthdays around Yule, how do you make their birthday stand out so it's extra special?

Beautiful November

Sunday was such a beautiful November day so we took the Witchlets to the playground to burn some energy.

The tree at the playground was utterly beautiful, so vibrant in color--the leaves stood out. I love how they change color right before falling. Shows that even death is beautiful.

The day was so perfect, the weather was amazing; hard to believe by evening it was so cold out I wished I had an electric blanket and some hot coco to get cozy with. The forecast for next week is looking meek--temps in the 20's and 30's. Bye bye beautiful November.

Passing Along Information Regarding Medicare Supplement Plans

I know quite a few people who are on disability insurance and a couple of people who really need it and can't seem to get it. I just read some info on medicare supplement plans that are available--even for people who have been denied SSDI.

Allsup is a leading nationwide provider of financial and healthcare related services to people with disabilities. Allsup does not provide health insurance; they assist people that need disability insurance by helping them get it. remember, disability insurance is not purchased, it has been paid for through your FICA taxes :)

Thinking About Yule

Posted in , ,

I know, November has just begun and already I'm thinking about Yule. I suppose it is because it is the one Sabbat I dread; mostly because I really dislike this time of year.

Every year we try to incorporate holiday cheer (giving gifts) in with the real meaning of the Sabbat--the Winter Solstice. My Witchlets, especially Olivia, are very interested in learning about Yule traditions, where they originated and how Christianity adopted many of them.

This year I will try not to be so 'bah-humbug' about the season.I will try to enjoy going out and shopping for gifts for the Witchlets. Last year I put it off and just hated it when I finally dd go. I utilized online shopping instead (which I did get some awesome deals at buy.com) but my heart just wasn't in it.

I really hope to start our own family traditions for Yule; I'm tired of following the traditions of others.
