Oh wow--is 'vlogging' a word? I had to Google it and yep, it is! I've been thinking about getting a digital camcorder and recording things like making incense and oils. I don't know, what do you think? I don't even know what camcorder would be best? I was reading online digital camcorder reviews to try and see what the best camcorder is out there, but honestly, I'm lost.
Do you have a channel on YouTube? Do you 'vlog'?
I have been trying to teach my Witchlets about the Elements, the signs and directions associated with them, as well as the colors. My daughter used to use whatever toys she could find that best represented the Element we were discussing at the time. I thought that was pretty cool--how she'd interpret the Elements.
How did you teach your children, if you have them, about the Elements?
Do you do any ritual work outside? I used to all the time when I lived elsewhere. When I was married to Jeff we had a huge backyard and this lovely pentacle:
I really miss that yard :-[ Where I live now is not so rural and we don't have much of a backyard. I thought about trying to dress up what we do have tough, maybe get some new patio furniture covers and try to make the outside look and feel magickal.
Do you ritual outside? If you do, what is your sacred space like?
I was asked to do a guest post on eWitch, what an honor! I wrote about the Element of Air, which was totally perfect for me since I am a Libra, which is an Air sign!
Go check out my post: The Elusive Element Air
I do have a Book of Shadows and I do have a collection of spells, but I don't sell them.
I had a woman from Charlotte contact me saying her teeth were the 'only' unattractive part of her and wanted me to give her a spell to fix them. My initial reaction was to respond with "why don't you just contact a charlotte cosmetic dentist and have them fixed appropriately" but I refrained, LOL.
I realize some people just don't understand magic and spells, consequence and so on, so I did reply in a proper manner and I did try to lead her in the right direction but I'm no therapist but I hope I helped her because clearly she had self esteem issues.
Do you 'sell' spells? I do share a few here on the blog, but I would never sell them!
Last month CJ got a motorcycle. An expensive custom chopper.
Yes, it's nice and all but I had no idea the stress we'd go through just to get it insured! Getting insurance for this was not like when looked for quotes for the Honda (we went to www.carinsurancelist.com) this was different. Apparently these bikes are considered a luxury item and not all insurance companies insure them for full coverage.
I don't even know who he eventually went with but I do know it costs us $1,200 a YEAR! Needless to say, I've been burning lavender nonstop lately to calm my nerves! I just might consider a money spell in the near future...hahahaa
My Witchlets love to color so of course I have been on the hunt for Pagan coloring books but I have not been very lucky in finding much at all; not in stores anyway. I did find a site online (WheeloftheYear.org) that has lots of neat Pagan coloring pages.
Usually I let the Witchlets pick out the ones they want and then print them. I have a pretty good printer and since only black is needed it is not too expensive to print these pages.
Would love other suggestions for Pagan coloring pages!
Are there any Pagan shops that are local to you that you absolutely love? There is one in my area, Ostara. It's hidden away yet not hidden, if that makes sense? it's in the historic district of a nearby town.
The first time I was ever there I was amazed, they have so much stuff and they are up on the latest technology--I think I saw a tm-t88iv receipt printer during check out! Now, that may sound silly but there was a new age shop I used to go to and buying things from them was actually painful, they only took checks!
Another shop that is sort of close to me is Celtic Myth and Moonlight. It's about a 40 minute drive for me but it's so worth it!
Are you lucky enough to have a shop close to you?
